I’m embarrassed to say that it’s been a long time since I broke out my pointed pen and sumi ink, but oh how I love working with these tools 🤍 this pointed pen holder was actually my first and a favorite from @thepostmansknock 🤍 I always love this sweet quote from Mark Twain and was so glad to have a reason to write it again for a recent commission! Keep in mind that the video is sped up 4x for the sake of time- no one ever needs to write calligraphy this fast 😝 Hope y’all have had a wonderful Labor Day Monday!

Ok y’all- give me all the tips! I really love this sweet community I’m a part of here on the gram- but I’ll have to be honest that I’ve been struggling to be present here lately. Partly because my life is complete chaos most of the time and I have no seconds to just sit and think; and partly because I’m a perfectionist and take on too much. How do you fellow introverts do it?

I have read so many things about Instagram and how you’re supposed to post all the time and be on here at least x number of hours, etc. etc. I’ve done all that before and I just can’t anymore. So send all your practical tips!! How can the introverted ones of us keep afloat in the world that is always on?

With the new school year fast approaching, I’m always on the hunt for the perfect planner- which I’m not sure exists 🤔. Enter the bullet journal! Our lives are so hectic right now that I really need something customizable to keep up with everything!

It’s probably been 2-3 years since I’ve done a bullet journal but it helped me so much to get organized. I sat down every Sunday and drew/planned out my week and then I didn’t feel so chaotic not knowing what the week held. And it’s fun to doodle 😄. So I think I’m going to try it again this year!

I’m still not the best with my faux calligraphy, but I will say it has improved a lot from when I first started (swipe for the evidence). Hehehe!
